I was walking down a stretch of beach in Santa Barbara, California, when I happened upon this wedding scene. The women were barefoot, the men had shoes, the sun bathers were not paying attention, everyone was doing their own thing. It was very American, and very beautiful.

Artist Patricia Maguire has exhibited her work in galleries in Florida, New York, Rio de Janeiro- Brazil, and Caracas and Valencia -Venezuela. She presently works in Delray Beach, Florida and is represented by the Artists' Guild Gallery in Delray Beach, Art Blend Gallery in Ft. Lauderdale, Artisan Direct in New York and First Avenue Art Gallery in Delray Beach, Florida. Her paintings hang in Private and Corporate Collections Internationally, including Canada and Argentina.
